Over 10 Years Experience Injecting

Injection of BOTOX® for cosmetic purposes has become very popular. Dr. Jones received training to use BOTOX® in his residency program in the late 1990s, and has brought this technique with him to his practice in Pensacola.
BOTOX® is short for onabotulinum toxin A, a neurotoxin that relaxes muscles. In large quantities this drug could be lethal, however in the small amounts used for facial cosmetic purposes, BOTOX® has been widely tested and is extremely safe.

Procedure
Treatment with BOTOX® consists of a few tiny injections taking only a few minutes. The BOTOX® relaxes the muscles that create facial wrinkles (dynamic wrinkles). It is typically used for frown lines between the eyes, horizontal forehead creases, and wrinkles in the crow’s feet area. The effect begins within 3-5days and lasts up to 4 months.
Unlike surgery, BOTOX® injections are fast, simple, and minimally invasive, with no downtime or recovery. Despite the relative ease of the injections, a qualified physician experienced with the use of BOTOX® should perform the procedure. Most people return directly to work or normal activity following treatment. Side effects are rare but might include minor bruising or unintended weakness of muscles causing transient eyelid or eyebrow droop.
Thousands of women and men have already discovered the benefits of BOTOX®. Not just model and movie stars, but ordinary people – teachers, mothers, and business people from all walks of life. With BOTOX®, they’ll know you’ve done something, they just won’t know what.
